Still Summer where I’m from..

Hey loves I’m aware that we are in the fall season. However, where I’m from, it’s fall but it’s always Summer if that makes any sense at all.

Like I’ve stated in other blogs, I love swim wears. I’m literally a hoarder of them and I’m truly not ashamed of it. I picked up a few from Icon Boutique this site has fast become one of my favorites.

There style, fit and everything to me is great. On the weekend I celebrated two years wedding Anniversary with my husband.I pulled this baby boy out and I was reminded of my obsession.

I’m one of those people who look out for sales. I browse the websites, I visit the clearance sections because sometimes you find some amazing pieces you didn’t even know you wanted. I got this swimwear for 12.50 I believe. One of my favourite purchases ever.

I’ll be back. Love Skay 💕

Living for Embroidered Mesh Top for Summer 17 |OOTD

I’m living for this outfit I work last weekend on a road trip to the waterpark with my family. So light so comfortable. Embroidered detail and mesh are both in this year and I’m totally here for it. This light weight top This is from SheIn I saw it on the model and I knew I had to get it. The embroidered detail on this top is everything. Bralette is from forever21,  I paired it with some shorts I got from OldNavy, for comfortable shorts though, Old Navy is the plug. I love their shorts! These gladiator sandals from Wetseal (that no longer exists by the way) I had them for over 2 years now I think. Comfortable as well and very easy to pair with an outfit.

The sunglasses are from Windsor Store. #Obsessed. I used the JaclynXMorphePalette on the eyes. I’ll be doing a full review and demo on my YouTube channel soon, make sure to subscribe so you can see my new upload Here. Prepare to see me in this top all summer because I’m obsessed with it!

Let me know what you think of this outfit!

Aunt Jackie’s Curl & Coil Gel | Honest Review

Last weekend I was on the hunt for a new curly hair product though I naturally have curly texture I sometimes need a little extra help.

We walked the isle of Fontana Pharmacy in Mandeville, Manchester where I live, as usual I spend hours whenever I walk into that place. I can never decide on which product to get. My friend Lauren was with me, she helped me choose, thank God for her.

My decision came down to this one from Aunt Jackie’s. It’s the Curl & Coils Don’t Shrink Flaxseed Elongating Curl Gel.  I stood there in the pharmacy and ofcourse I googled reviews on this product which I ALWAYS do anyway. If I have a concern then google is the answer. I wanted something that didn’t leave my hair feeling over moisturized if that’s even a thing, nor did I want my hair to be super oily and flaked out which I’ve had with products such as Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Coil Moisturizing Soufflé and Curl Defining Glaze and a number of Cantu products.

I was drawn to this one because of the ingredients first of all. It’s enriched with flaxseed and wheat protein according to the information on the jar. Also rich in Omega fatty acids, promote hair health from the inside out, and helps prevent dryness & flaking. It says it doesn’t shrink but I’ve experienced shrinkage but I then again I did apply ALOT of product because I wanted tighter curls. The  directions says apply small amount to clean, wet or damp hair. Apply more for tighter curls, less for elongated curls. For wash n go styles, apply as needed, raking through hair with fingers, then finger styling hair into place.

I have to say that my hair came out amazing. I followed the instructions by taking product on to my fingers and raking trough my damped hair and it didn’t take long to dry at all. I allowed it to air dry and I didn’t have the issue of over saturated oily wet look. My husband paid me a compliment. He loved it. I’m happy with my choice.  The pic below is when I first applied the product.

The pics below are a day old curls, after tying my hair down with my silk head tie and sleeping on it. No flakes and still looked moistured. All I did was used my fingers to shake it up a little because it became flat from tying it down over night.

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

The pic below is day 3. I haven’t added anymore of the product to my hair. I added a little almond oil around my hair line because of my skin issues but that’s it. Still no flakes and the curls are still so soft. Definitely doesn’t have the crusty feeling. As the curls grow older the more compliments I’ve been getting about my hair. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this product. It did exactly what it said it would do. Definitely taking this one with me on vacation IF and that’s a BIG…IF I decide to wear my hair out. 🤣

Friday Work Attire| OOTD

Hey Beauties,

Simpler looks that are cute as well as chic at the same time are my thing these days. I personally don’t like to stress myself about what I wear anymore and so the secret is that purchase basic pieces that can be styled with anything, whether it’s a pants, a skirt or even shorts. My pieces are chosen specifically because I have no plans of wearing them in only one setting. My basic pieces should be able to be dressed up or down for whatever the occasion might me.  My go to colors are black, white, camel (nude) and army green lately. I find that they are easy to style and very easy to pair with other colors.

I styled this cute nude pencil skirt I purchased from forever21 about 2 years ago.  The thong bodysuit I got from Boohoo, this little cardigan sweater I’ve had for probably over 7 years I have no recollection of where I bought it. Accessories from Forever21, glasses are from a local store in my town called Maxie’s..I’m obsessed with it and the compliments on them come in by the hundreds.  Everyone thinks it’s my tested glasses but what they don’t know is that my tested glasses is actually in my bag lol..

Suede Block Heels are from Gojane which are very comfortable by the way and of course I had to beat my face for all the fancy ish I had going on this day. I also created this Updo hairstyle that I filmed for my YouTube at  you can subscribe here —->> Shana-Kay Tamara.

Bare in mind that you can add whatever you want to your outfit. If you feel good about what you’re wearing then absolutely no one can make you feel as though you aren’t beautiful. Let your beauty shine from the inside out. Dress yourself for you.

Graphic One Piece Swimsuit #Obsessed

Hey beauties,

The heat is on and everyone knows by that that I’m swimsuit obsessed. I live in the tropics where it’s pretty much hot all year round but regardless there’s this hyped up feeling when it comes on to summer, things I haven’t gotten a chance to do at the beginning of the year, I most certainly make time for them in the summer.

Last weekend we celebrated my friends birthday and so she wanted to celebrate it at the beach in St. Elizabeth. A group of us went and stayed over (VLOG coming soon) however I decided to wear this Paradise Lost Grapic One Piece  swimwear with maps all over it.  This cute little number I bought from Forever21 about 5-6 months ago. Sadly this item is no longer available on the website. Of course I paired this with a ripped shorts I’ve had for almost a decade, this gorgeous hat, some accessories and boom! I was ready to shine. It hugs every curve of my body, the material is so comfortable. This will probably be my uniform this summer, I don’t feel like enough people has seen me wearing it yet, lol  I’m obsessed. ☺️

Summer Time Fine| OOTD

It’s officially summer, oh boy. Can you believe that its almost the end of June already? I feel like the year just started and everything is just flying by. Of course it’s time to break out the bikinis, shorts, bralette’s and all the fancy outfits.

Over the weekend I wore this Outfit to the beach and it caused quite the stir, heads kept turning and the compliments about how amazing my body and outfit looked had my head looking like a football. (Chuckles)

I wore this strappy black tube top from Forever21 and this ripped jeans 👖 from Fashionnova, still one of my very favourite jeans from them to date. Accessories I got at a store in my area, this straw fedora and these dope shades I also got from a local store in my town.  I love to keep things simple but cute, the type of outfits that doesn’t take much effort at all. I’ve been posting a a lot more videos on my YouTube Channel so feel free to check it out here to see my style videos.

All Black Everything… well Almost | OOTD

Hey beauties, about a month  ago I ordered this lace trim racerback cami top from it took a while to get there but finally it arrived. I’ve been looking for these cute cami tops because they are so easy to style. Just throw a pants, skirt or jeans, sandals or heels, some accessories and you’re… ready for the road (In my soca singing voice).  I paired this lace trim racerback cami top with my black high waisted pants I got from gold slipper I picked up from a store in NYC last year, gold accessories from forever21 and Boohoo.  Black has fast become my favorite choice of colour. I think it’s perfect for my skin tone. My style is very simple but a clean one. I’m all about looking super cute yet very comfortable without having to put a ball of energy into it.

I literally pulled over by the street and had my 10 year old nephew capture these photos. Did he do a great job or nah?

Have a fantastic week! Xo 😘
