Living for Embroidered Mesh Top for Summer 17 |OOTD

I’m living for this outfit I work last weekend on a road trip to the waterpark with my family. So light so comfortable. Embroidered detail and mesh are both in this year and I’m totally here for it. This light weight top This is from SheIn I saw it on the model and I knew I had to get it. The embroidered detail on this top is everything. Bralette is from forever21,  I paired it with some shorts I got from OldNavy, for comfortable shorts though, Old Navy is the plug. I love their shorts! These gladiator sandals from Wetseal (that no longer exists by the way) I had them for over 2 years now I think. Comfortable as well and very easy to pair with an outfit.

The sunglasses are from Windsor Store. #Obsessed. I used the JaclynXMorphePalette on the eyes. I’ll be doing a full review and demo on my YouTube channel soon, make sure to subscribe so you can see my new upload Here. Prepare to see me in this top all summer because I’m obsessed with it!

Let me know what you think of this outfit!

Work Attire| Wide Leg Trousers OOTD

I’ve been loving the trend of the wide leg trousers. I find them to be very classy and chic.  They can be dressed up or down In whatever way you like.

Today I went with quite the look. I paired my black wide leg trousers with an off white body suit & and a light weight cardigan. This wide leg trousers can be styled and worn for any occasion pretty much. Today I styled it to suit a nice work look.

I received  so many compliments. Some people asking what’s the occasion, others are like, Girlllllll, you sure out did yourself today. I flushed at each compliments because I do look how I feel… and that’s amazing! My hard work in the gym + healthy lifestyle is finally paying off.  I look and I feel fantastic. Not only have I been working on the outside but I’ve also been nurturing the inside, stepping outside of my comfort zone and just living & doing the things I love.

Here’s the details on the outfit:

Top: Kate Sleeveless Thong Scoop Body

Trousers: Arabella Extreme Wide Leg Trousers

Sweater:Emily Slouchy Boyfriend Cardigan

Have a great weekend.

Jouer Cosmetics

I’ve been obsessing over my recent purchase. Some of my favourite youtubers has been raving about the Jouer Cosmetics lip toppers and long wear lip cremés. Ofcourse they automatically got to me interested because everyone knows by now that I’m a makeup junkie.

Last month I hopped on to their website, anticipating the release of the new shades of Lip Cremé and they also released the new Lip Topper called Tan Line, I have to say I’m not disappointed with my purchase at all.  I got Tan Line, Skinny Dip and Dahlia.

Th packaging is to die for and the smell, OMG! If they smelled any better I’d probably find myself biting into my lip for Heaven’s sake. The way they glide on, I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase. I literally find myself wearing them every chance I get. They are certainly longwearing. I have worn them for hours and they just sit on my lips longer than Hurricane Matthew took to pass by Jamaica (lol)

Check them out below..

Protective style: Box Braids

Sometimes I feel like cutting my hair all off, other times I feel like growing it out. Right now I’m in one of those grow it out moods.  It’s a challenge at times because I am very indecisive when it comes on to what I’ll do to my hair next .

Last couple of weeks I’ve been doing all kinds of protective styles, from wigs to braids and then wigs to braids again. I decided to get box braids last weekend and I’m totally feeling it. It’s been a while since I’ve done them so I was pretty excited about the turn out. Usually I would go for bigger box braids but this time I went really smaller than the usual, after all; I would like it to last more than the average 2 weeks.

Let me know what you think about this

Red lips and Curls give me life

Red is officially my go to colour. I live for a damn good red lipstick, whether it be matte or otherwise. This one I’m wearing is from Gerard Cosmetics  it has a beautiful formula, it stays on once applied for the entire day and it doesn’t dry out my lips and that’s why I’m obsessed. The colour is called Fire Engine, indeed it is fire.

I lined my lips with Nyx Cosmetics Hot Cocoa Lip Pencil  just to give the lips a more plumped looked.  I grabbed my Remington Curling Wand to perfect these curls and Voila! I was ready for the road.  My red dress did cement the look, I got so many compliments when I was out. Perhaps I’ll film this makeup look if you want to see how It’s done.

What says you, do you like the look, should I film it for you guys?

SLAY your face with these babies

We all know that looking glam is the thing these days. We all want to #SLAY so bad, if you’ve heard Beyonce’s “Formation” then you probably know what I’m taking about.  I’ve always been obsessed with looking my best as at all times, whether I’m going work, running errands or a just casual date night with my love. I’m always looking for better ways to apply my makeup and ensuring my face is flawless.

2015 was the year of highlighting and contouring and then Kim Kardashian brought ‘BAKING’ into the game and man, I’ve been baking my face like a cake 😂 . Here are the two setting powders I’ve been using lately.

Laura Mercier Translucent loose setting powder

Its silky smooth and keeps my under eyes crease free. I have very oily skin so it doesn’t matter what I use, after a few hours, my T zone be looking like a grease ball but this powder makes my makeup last longer. It’s not cakey, It’s very light weight. I decided to get this because all my favourite youtuber/MUA has been using this and brags about it alot.  It’s a little on the pricey side but I have no regrets purchasing. I really love it!  You can purchase product here Laura Mercier Traslucent Loose Setting Powder

Sacha Buttercup Setting Powder

I decided to get this powder because the world of youtubers I look up to has raved about  this and then ofcourse I fell for it, It’s makeup for heaven’s sake lol. I’m obsessed. I love it so far and this really makes your under eye or all the places you set really pop, you know what I mean?! Simply put, you should get it. With this, a little goes a far way it ought to last me a long time.

Has anyone tried the Sacha Buttercup setting powder orthe Laura Mercier Setting Powder? What are your thoughts?
